Subject: Annual Hog Roast Attendance and Door Prize Request

We are asking all elected officials to make attendance at this year’s Annual Hog Roast a priority. This event is always an important opportunity to connect with members of our community, strengthen relationships, and demonstrate our shared commitment to those we serve. This year, however, your presence is especially important because we will be sharing an important message with everyone in attendance.

We strongly encourage every elected official to attend and to invite friends, family members, and others within your community to join us. A strong turnout will help make this year’s Hog Roast meaningful, engaging, and successful.

In addition, we are asking each elected official to provide a door prize with a minimum value of $25. Door prizes are a fun part of the event and help create an enjoyable experience for attendees.

Your participation matters. Having our elected officials present, engaged, and interacting with attendees sends an important message about leadership, accessibility, and community involvement.

Please make plans to attend and encourage others to join you. We appreciate your support and look forward to having everyone together for this important annual event.

This letter serves as official notice that a caucus of the Whitley County Republican Party will be held to fill the vacancy in the office of County Commissioner due to the passing of Commissioner Chad Banks. 

Details of the Caucus:

• Date: Monday, October 13, 2025

• Time: 5:30 p.m.

• Location: Main Hall, Larwill Fire Department

Individuals who wish to be considered as candidates to fill this position must file their declaration of candidacy with Chairman, Nicki Venable no later than October 10, 2025 @ 5:30pm. Filing instructions and requirements can be obtained by contacting Chairman, Venable at 260-418-6877 or nnvenable@gmail.com.

 All eligible precinct committeemen are encouraged to attend and participate in this important process. This caucus will determine the leadership that will continue to serve our county with integrity and dedication. Your attention to this notice and your participation is appreciated.

Whitley County, March 6, 2025 — The Whitley County Republican Party is proud
to announce the election of its new leadership team for the upcoming 2025-2029
term.

Just a reminder. Our monthly breakfast will be this Saturday Feb.17 at the Old World Cafe at 8:15am. We ask for a donation of $12 to cover the cost of the buffet breakfast and a tip for the staff.

Christopher Judy for State Representative will be sponsoring the breakfast this month. Representative Judy will update us on matters currently before the General Assembly. We have also asked Jon Kenworthy and Grant Bucher to update us on the status of their campaigns for the 3rd District Congressional seat being vacated by Congressman Banks.

Make sure to join us Saturday January 20th 8:15 @ The Square for breakfast. The cost is a $12 donation.
